We are the only solid wood closet that is actually manufactured in the U.S. This allows us to control all of our material sources and back it up with documentation for our customers. Our solid lumber comes from FSC Certified forests in Oregon and Northern California. FSC is the official mark of responsible forestry. We list the specific forest locations on our website. In addition, we are the only manufacturer in the country that provides Material Safety Data Sheets on all of our materials. We never use particle board, melamine or MDF with formaldehyde in our closets. Formaldehyde is the glue resin that is used to bind all the wood chunks/particles together to create a panel. We are a worldwide brand that is currently sold in over 20 countries throughout Europe, North America and Australia. Lundia has been manufactured in the USA for over 70 years and in Europe since the 1940's. That is more half century of customers using our product worldwide. Because of the durability of our product, there is even a used market for Lundia. If you go to eBay and type in Lundia, you will see our used product for sale. Some of this is over 25 years old from commercial installations that we did back in the 1970's and 1980's. In fact the same product we manufacture today still works with Lundia we made 50 years ago.
